Babis Tsoukias
Babis Tsoukias was born and brought up in Chalandri, Athens. Coming from a family of photographers, his first professional relationship was at the age of 16, when using his father's camera, he captured everyday moments and characters from his hometown, unknowingly doing his first photojournalism.
Having being educated in a private school in Athens, he completed his academic studies in Switzerland. During his 28 years of photography, though, he has come to learn that the greatest school is LIFE itself.
Advertising and still life photography, are a big part of his work, but what won him over in the end are people. People who allow you into the most personal and exclusive moments of their lives. People producing emotions, living unique experiences and sentiments, laughing,crying,being happy,being sad. These are the moments for which he is proud to be given the opportunity to capture and his honoured to be chosen by them as their personal photographer.
He has managed to surpass himself daily, gaining the respect of his colleagues and the love of his customers...
